Jaipur Airport Ranked No.1 in the World, Leaving 320 Airports Behind

Jaipur Airport or Jaipur International Airport has been ranked no.1 in the world as a result of a worldwide survey conducted between 320 airports from 80 different countries. This news has made all Jaipurites proud and curious about that one special thing that has made the Jaipur international Airport stand out as World's No. 1.

Jaipur Airport Declared World's No.1 in Survey by ACI

The Airports Council International (ACI) is a global non-profit organisation of Airport Operators on Airport Service Quality (ASQ). ACI had organised a worldwide survey to find out the best airport in the world on the basis of their ASQ (Airport Service Quality). Not just Jaipur and Jaipur Airport Authorities but the officials of the Airport Authority of India (AAI), Jaipur were extremely happy and proud to hear this.

The international agency had conducted a huge online survey on 320 airports from 80 different countries in which people showed their love for Jaipur. After that ASQ has declared this rating naming Jaipur International Airport as the World's No.1.

Jaipur Airport's Director JS Balra shared that it's because of the traffic growth and world-class facilities that we are providing here that the Jaipur Airport has been named as the best airport in the world in the category of 2 to 5 million passengers per annum.

E-Visa Facility

In the coming days, Jaipur Airport will be introducing new facilities such as e-visa to add to the comfort of all passengers. Jaipur Airport Director JS Balra shared that the Jaipur Airport will soon be adding another feather in its cap. The airport operating several international flights to destinations like Bangkok, Singapore and Abu Dhabi, will now also be providing 'Visa on Arrival' facility to the applicants who file e-Visa. this facility would start from 1 April 2017 on wards.

For this the Jaipur Airport will add 4 extra counters to facilitate the passengers of almost 161 countries, who will be able to avail the facility of Visa on Arrival. However, only two entries would be allowed per passenger.

In this survey carried out by the ACI, Jaipur and Srinagar airports have been rated as the world's no. 1 and 2, respectively.
