Gourmet Getaway: International Food Festival at Jaipur

With Jaipur playing host to popular literary, handicrafts, arts and music festivals uniting people from around the world, it is high time that the city also hosts an international food festival. The quest for Jaipur stepping into the world of hosting the best food festivals in the world started on Saturday, 11 March 2017 with Gourmet Getaway, the first International Food Festival at Jaipur.

Jaipur steps into the world of Food Festivals with Gourmet Getaway

Gourmet Getaway, a fabulous concept by Dushyant Singh, was organised at his family's royal fortress Nand Mahal located on the Jaipur-Agra Road. This marked to be the first edition of this international food festival in Jaipur where international chefs prepared cuisines of 11 countries. Just imagine a treat of Jaipur's famous Laal Maas and Raj Kachori, custom handmade pizzas right from a chef who flew from Italy, bakery options, organic ice cream from France and more. Good food, fine music - all being served in a pristine setting with subtle decoration with wood and golden lights. The Rajasthani palace only added to the charm of the event set against the backdrop of the Aravalli Mountains.
