CCTVs to be installed to keep a watch on Nahargarh Fort

So now you can visit Nahargarh fort even more safely!

Yes, to ensure better security of the tourists visiting the Nahargarh fort, the hottest tourist destination of pink city, CCTV’s are going to be installed soon by Amer Development and Management Authority (ADMA) in association with Archaeology Department. Each and every part of the fort shall be closely monitored by CCTVs.

Tourists’ safety is the prime and main objective of ADMA and CCTVs’ installation is a major step to improve tourist safety. At a total cost of 13.98 lakhs, CCTV’s shall be installed in fort and each and every movement of the tourists shall be closely monitored from the enquiry counter and the officer’s cabin.

Safety of female tourists is the biggest concern in the fort

In past, several complaints have been registered related to eve-teasing and other fraud activities going on in the fort. In spite of Nahargarh fort being a prime destination, there were no effective measures taken by ADMA or any government department to ensure safety and protection measures. Now finally CCTV’s proposal has been accepted by ADMA after regular complaints of foreign tourist companies.

Separate CCTV’s for the Nahargarh Wax Museum

CCTV’s are going to be installed by the museum company itself to keep a watch on Nahargarh Wax Museum. According to the director of the museum, Mr, Anoop Shrivastav, CCTV’s are to be installed at all places wherever wax statues shall be displayed. Also CCTV’s shall be installed at places from where on movement at entrance, ticket counter and office area and entire premises can be closely watched. Total 48 cameras in HD quality shall be installed by the company.

Apart from Nahargarh fort, there are many other prominent destinations in pink city which are required to be monitored closely in order to avoid any mis-happening. After the bomb blasts that shook the pink city, there were certain measures taken to improve the security but in absence of maintenance, they are also not able to ‘guard’ Jaipur. It is an area of major concern for the authorities.
