Jaipur Metro Mega Plan… It Will Run on Every Major Route, Expansion up to Delhi–Sikar Road

Preparations have begun for a major expansion of Jaipur's metro network. A “Mega Blueprint” will be created to connect every part of the city with the metro.
Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma indicated in a high-level meeting with MPs that in the coming years Jaipur will have a lifeline metro system, and this expansion will act as an engine for the city’s development.
The CM has instructed to accelerate Phase-2 work.

Master Plan Presentation, New Routes Included

In the meeting, a master plan for metro expansion was presented covering Amer, Jagatpura, Vaishali Nagar (Ajmer Road), and Sitapura (RIICO area).
The CM also directed work on the Elevated Road Project.

Instructions were given to complete:

  • Phase-1C (Badi Chaupar to Transport Nagar)
  • Phase-1D (Mansarovar to Ajmer Road Chauraha)
    at the earliest.

A corridor from Prahladpura to Todi Mod will be developed, and Jaipur will be expanded further through metro connectivity.
Work orders will soon be issued for the package from Prahladpura to Pinjrapole Gaushala.
Apart from this, directions have also been given to expand metro services on other major routes across the city.
