Tourists will be able to enjoy boating in Amer from 7 AM to 7 PM; tourism gets a new dimension
Boating started at Mavtha Lake; electric luxury boats in the second phase
Tourists visiting Mavtha Lake in Amer have received a new attraction with the start of boating from Monday. Visitors coming to see the Amer Fort can now enjoy boating during the day and experience a new dimension of Jaipur tourism.
There will be 7 different types of boats available. Tourists can enjoy boating from 7 AM to 7 PM.
In the first phase, selected boats have been launched. In the second phase, electric luxury motor boats will also be introduced. These boats are being customized in the Rajasthan heritage style at Udaipur. Each boat will have a capacity of about 30 passengers. The front of the boat will be designed like a peacock, while the sides will reflect heritage-style designs.
There will also be a stage where cultural programs will be organized. Tourists will be able to enjoy folk songs and music. The duration of the boating ride will be about 30 minutes.
The ticket price will be:
Children below 3 years will get free entry, while children between 3 to 8 years will need to purchase half tickets.
Boating resumes in Mavtha after 20 years
After 20 years, boating has restarted in Mavtha Lake. This initiative has been launched under a Public-Private Partnership (PPP) model.
According to company operator Kapil Kattha, boating will add a new attraction to Jaipur tourism. Tourists will be able to enjoy a beautiful view of the Amer Fort from the lake. Tickets can be purchased from the ticket counter and the official website.
The Superintendent of Amer Fort, Dr. Rakesh Chholak, said that tourists visiting the fort will now also get an opportunity to explore the water tourism experience, which is expected to increase the number of visitors.
A second ticket counter will also be built near the parking area.
On the first day, tourists were allowed free boating until 3 PM.
Types of Boats Available
