New footpaths on Kalwar Road and Loha Mandi Road
Sikar Road and New Sanganer Road corridors to become signal-free; 4 new box culverts to be built on Dravyavati
1200-meter-long footpaths will be built on Loha Mandi Road
To streamline traffic and improve connectivity between colonies, five major intersections in the city will be made signal-free. Additionally, four new box culverts will be constructed on the Dravyavati River to connect nearby colonies.
For pedestrian convenience, about 2,200 meters of footpaths will be built on both sides of Kalwar Road, and approximately 1,200 meters of footpaths on both sides of Loha Mandi Road.
These proposals were approved during the Traffic Control Meeting held at the JDA headquarters’ Manthan Auditorium on Thursday, chaired by JDA Commissioner Nishant Jain.

During the meeting, it was decided to redevelop the Sikar Road Corridor and the New Sanganer Road Corridor.

Additionally, under the Dravyavati River Project, four new box culverts will be constructed to improve connectivity between city colonies. The exact locations for these culverts have not yet been finalized.
