Jaipur Marathon 2017: 42 km Full Marathon for the First Time in Jaipur

After metro city Pune, Mumbai, and Delhi, the full marathon is to take place in smart city Jaipur too. Jaipurites have previously indulged in 6 km Dream Run and 21.097 km Jaipur Half Marathon but this year for the first time ever Jaipur will participate in the 42.195 km Jaipur International Full Marathon.

AU Jaipur Marathon 2017 powered by Dainik Bhaskar would start with a flag off at 4 a.m. on 5th February 2017 at Albert Hall. The Jaipur Marathon 2017 date – 5th February 2017 would mark history for being the first ever full marathon in Jaipur.

The Jaipur Marathon runners’ route will be viewed on an international map. More than 150 candidates have registered for a full marathon so far. Out of these, more than 100 runners from Rajasthan would aim to achieve a long target. Runners are supposed to complete Jaipur Full Marathon in 6 hours but professional runners often succeed to complete a full marathon within 5 hours. What’s more amazing is that the top 3-4 runners not even take 3 hours to complete it. The top 3-4 runners of Jaipur Marathon finish up a full marathon within 3 hours’ time, marking history.

Jaipur Marathon Route

Jaipur Full Marathon will start from Albert Hall at 4 a.m. in the morning after flag off. The runners of Jaipur Marathon 2017 will pass Trimurti Circle, Moti Dungri Mandir, Gandhi Circle JKK (Jawahar Kala Kendra, MNIT and Apex Circle. From there the runners would take a U-turn and will run over the Malviya Nagar Bridge to reach WTP, and then Jawahar Circle. They’ll again take a U-turn and run passing by Bajaj Nagar Thana. Another U-turn would make them take JLN Marg again from where they’ll aim towards reaching Albert Hall.

This will mark the completion of the 21.097 km Jaipur Half Marathon. For a full marathon, the runners will have to repeat the same route one more time.
