The Dusshera fair organised by Rajasthan Patrika and Roshan Motors here is one of the most celebrated ones in the city. 2. Dusshera Maidan, Vidhyadhar Nagar - The Highest Ravan Effigy in the City

Rajasthan Patrika and Vidhyadhar Nagar Dusshera Mela Samiti, Jaipur have together organised 'Vijayotsav 2016' on Tuesday, 11th October, 2016. Effigies of Ravan, Meghnad and Kumbhkaran would be burnt during this Dusshera fair. They have the highest Ravan effigy in Jaipur, which is 120 ft. high, whereas the effigies of Meghnad and Kumbhkaran are 75 ft. high each.

However, the main attraction of Dusshera Mela at Vidhyadhar Nagar will be actor Ashish Sharma, who played the role of Lord Rama in ‘Siya ke Ram TV serial.

Other attractions include attractive fireworks and stalls, impressive lighting, anchor Man (President, Rajasthan Anchors Association), singer Vinay Sharma (Sur Sargam fame), anchor Abhi and Parth (playing various characters), singer Amit David (Indian Idol fame), Magician Dance Group and more.

3. Pratap Nagar, Sanganer - Vishal Dusshera Mela

Pratap Nagar’s Vikas Samiti and Rajasthan Patrika present a huge Dusshera fair titled ‘Vishal Dusshera Mela’ this Dusshera on Tuesday, October 11, 2016. Reach the venue to watch Ravan Dahan. Other attractions of this Dusshera Fair in the city include Shastra Puja, cultural program, orchestra, food stalls and stalls of other items.
