PM Modi’s unexpected visit to Jaipur due to bad weather in Delhi


PM Modi was travelling to Delhi from Hubli, Karnataka in a flight, which had to be diverted to Jaipur because of Delhi’s bad weather. The plane was supposed to land in Delhi at 8:50p.m. on Sunday. But it was diverted to Jaipur, where the plane landed at 9:25p.m. Administrative officers along with the CM, Bhupender Yadav and Ashok Parnami reached airport.

PM didn’t come down the flight. He rather had one-hour long discussion with the CM inside the plane only. Even Bhupender Yadav and Ashok Parnami stayed in the plane for 20 minutes. PM’s plane finally departed for Delhi at 11:23p.m. and landed in Delhi at 12:05a.m.

Instant Preparations for PM’s Arrival

As soon as the authorities came to know about PM Modi’s flight’s diversion, everybody got to work. The security officers performed a complete security check of the airport. At the same time, the VIP lounge was cleaned and well prepared. BJP’s politician Bhupender Yadav reached the Sanganer airport when he got information about Modi’s flight diversion.

Important Timings

9:15p.m. – ATC got the information of PM’s flight diversion to Jaipur.

9:25p.m. – CM left CM House for the airport.

9:25p.m. – PM’s plane landed in Jaipur.

11:23p.m. – PM’s plane departed for Delhi after improvement in Delhi’s weather.

11:30p.m. – CM left the airport.

12:05a.m. – PM’s plane landed in Delhi

12 more flights were diverted to Jaipur along with the PM’s plane due to bad weather conditions in Delhi.
