Cancer patients and their number inflating every year in India - Three years, cancer patients rise by 70%


Increasing cancer:

According to a recent survey being conducted by a cancer hospital in the city of Jaipur, it has been found out that there is a drastic ascend in the number of cancer patients in the country.

Cancer research and its rising number every year:

The numbers when studied revealed a clear raise of 3223 cancer patients in the country.

Cancer patients in 2012: There were a total of 7504 people suffering from cancer in the country in the year 2012.

Cancer patients in 2015: In the year 2015, the number for cancer patients in the country went up to as high as 10727 which is quite a rapid increase in a period of mere 3 years and an alarming number too for a disease such as cancer, the cure of which has been questioned till date. This rise in terms of percentage is quoted at 70%.

Percentages of different types of cancer: A rise of 2% in the number of people suffering from throat and mouth cancer has been studied and stated whereas a rise of 1% has been observed in people suffering from breast cancer.

Percentages of throat cancer are found at 29%, lung cancer taking a share of 22%, cancer in the digestive system of the human body at 15%, blood cancer at 11% and reproductive organ form of cancer at 5%.

Number of men mainly for mouth cancer: From the figures of the research study of the year 2015, it has been seen that the number of men who majorly had a medical condition of mouth cancer were quoted at a number of 5622.

Cancer type amongst women: In a study amongst the women of the country, it has been seen that cancer amongst women is prevalent in the form of breast cancer and uterus cancer. Both breast cancer and uterus cancer are found equally at about 50% in the women of the country.

Quick percentages: In a study conducted in apropos 4403 women of the country, breast cancer has been found at a rate of 29%, reproductive organ form of cancer quoted at 21%, cancer in the digestive system with a figure of 15%, blood cancer at the rate 8% and throat cancer at a rate of 8%.

To bring about a reduction in the number of increasing cancer patients in the country every year and to bring about awareness about cancer treatment to the common public, it is a mandate to present the public with research based figures. Research numbers are clearly reflecting that cancer disease is on a rise in manifolds.
