Army Day Parade: Soldiers’ Rehearsal Begins Today; Parking and Seating Arrangements Finalized

Parade viewing arrangements:
On 13 and 15 January, arrangements have been made to watch the parade from 6:00 AM to 12:00 noon.

Jaipur:
To showcase the bravery, discipline, and valor of the Indian Army, the Army Day Parade 2026 will be organized on Mahal Road (Jagatpura), Jaipur on 15 January. This is the first time the Army Day Parade is being held in Jaipur.

Ahead of the main event, a full rehearsal will take place on Friday and Saturday. The rehearsal will be conducted from Asharam Ashram Square to Bombay Hospital Square (Mahal Road).

For spectators, arrangements to watch the parade will be available on 9, 11, 13, and 15 January from 6:00 AM to 12:00 noon.

People coming to watch the Army Day Parade can park their vehicles at designated parking locations using Haldighati Marg and Rana Sanga Marg.

From Asharam Ashram Square to Bombay Hospital Square, Mahal Road will remain open for emergency vehicles, but general traffic will be restricted during the event period.

Traffic Restrictions on Mahal Road

During rehearsals, tableaux display, and the main parade, Mahal Road (Jagatpura) from Asharam Ashram Square to Bombay Hospital Square will remain closed to traffic from 6:00 AM to 1:00 PM.

However, residents of nearby residential areas on both sides of Mahal Road will be allowed to use parallel routes to reach their homes.

Alternative Traffic Arrangements

  • Traffic coming from Khatipura Circle towards Ashok Vatika will be diverted via Haldighati Marg and B2 Bypass Road.
  • Traffic from Vidhyadhar Nagar heading towards Bombay Hospital / Ashok Vatika will be diverted from Bombay Hospital Square towards Central Vihar Marg.
  • Traffic coming from D-Mart Circle towards Ashok Vatika (Mahal Road) will be diverted to parallel routes.

Seating Arrangement for Spectators

Spectator seating has been arranged in front of Akshay Patra Temple.
Viewers are advised to reach the venue using JLN Marg, Surajpole Road, Mahavir Marg, and Central Vihar Marg, to avoid unnecessary traffic disruption.
