Digifest TIE Global Summit at JECC on January 4-6: Global tech and AI experts will visit Jaipur, former cricketer Sehwag will also attend

 

The Rajasthan Digifest TIE Global Summit will be held in Jaipur from January 4th to 6th. The event will be held at the JECC in Sitapura. The summit will bring together tech experts, startup founders, investors, policymakers, and government representatives from across the country and the world.

Speaking at Hotel Clarks Amer on Wednesday, summit coordinator Mahavir Pratap Sharma said, "The summit, supported by the Rajasthan government, will discuss issues related to technology, startups, investment, AI, governance, and the digital economy. According to the organizers, approximately 10,000 entrepreneurs, over 500 investors, and over 100 global speakers will attend the summit."

More than 200 startups from 30 countries are expected to receive funding totaling over ₹200 crore. Former cricketer Virender Sehwag and actress Bhumi Pednekar will also attend the summit.

 

Prominent leaders from the central and state levels will attend. Summit coordinator Mahavir Pratap Sharma stated that Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma, Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav, Union Cabinet Minister Ashwini Vaishnav, Minister of State Jitin Prasada, and Rajasthan Sports Minister Rajyavardhan Singh Rathore will attend the event. Rajasthan Chief Secretary V. Srinivas and IT Department Secretary Dr. Uday Sawant will also participate.

Global tech and AI experts will also attend Jaipur. Ravi Surpur, IAS, Secretary of the Rajasthan government's Information Technology and Communications Department, said that international tech and innovation experts will also participate in the summit. These include MIT professor Ramesh Rathkar, Alexander Osterwalder of Strategizer, Aramex founder Fadi Ghandour, and senior leaders from Dubai Internet City and TECOM Group.

Startup Founders, Investors, and Business Leaders Will Also Take the Stage The summit will also feature prominent Indian startup founders and investors, including Alakh Pandey of Physixwala, Raghav Chandra of Urban Company, Prashant Tandon of Tata 1MG, Amit Jain of CarDekho, Nishant Pitti of EaseMyTrip, Mohit Yadav of Minimalist, and Rakesh Verma of MapMyIndia.

The summit will also feature prominent figures from tech and business, as well as culture and sports. These include Grammy Award-winning music composer Tiki Kej, former tennis player Vijay Amritraj, former cricketer Virender Sehwag, and actress Bhumi Pednekar.
