Event: Programs from March 7 to 9 on Women’s Day

Products by Women Entrepreneurs at 300 Stalls… Talk Show by Raveena–Isha

On the occasion of International Women’s Day and the birth anniversary of Maa Panna Dhay, the program “Shakti Vandan – Salute to India” will be organized on March 8 and 9 at the Jawahar Kala Kendra (JKK) Shilpgram.

On this occasion, a two-day self-defense training camp will be organized from 9 AM to 11 AM, where more than 500 women and girls will participate. As part of traditional weapons training, they will practice sword fighting.

More than 300 stalls will also be set up where women entrepreneurs will showcase their products, handicrafts, stitching work, and various artworks.

During the event, several talk shows will also be held on topics such as:

  • “Developed India through Gender Equality”
  • “Artificial Intelligence for Women”
  • “Women’s Power in Entrepreneurship”
  • “Healthy Women – Prosperous Society”

Speakers in these sessions will include actress Raveena Tandon, Isha Koppikar, and singer Mame Khan, along with several other distinguished personalities.

The program is being organized under the supervision of Sevaram Sanstha and coordinated by Jaipur Greater Municipal Corporation Mayor Dr. Saumya Gurjar.

At JKK: “Phir Ashadha Ka Ek Din”

At Krishnayan Auditorium of JKK, on March 7 at 5 PM, there will be a discussion on Indian women’s creativity, covering literature, fine arts, music, rhythm, and acting.

On March 8 at 5 PM, Alankar Kala Dirgha will host a discussion on the journey of women in Indian art and culture, from traditional roles to contemporary creativity.

At 7 PM, a theatrical performance titled “Phir Ashadha Ka Ek Din” will be staged.

March 7: “Shimmer Mrs. Rajasthan”

The beauty pageant “Shimmer Mrs. Rajasthan” will take place on March 7.

The theme will be “Drape and Heritage.”
The program will be organized with the support of Rajasthan Women Organization, Jodhpur Heritage, and other partners.

According to organizer Alka Agarwal, finalists will be trained in model walk, pose, and stage style.
Students from JECRC College will present heritage-inspired fashion collections on the ramp.

Singer Shivani will also give a live performance during the event.
