Jawahar Kala Kendra To Have The First World Class Art Galleries.

Jawahar Kala Kendra Jaipur

The Architecture of Charles Correa will blossom with new art galleries…

Artists from around the world will experience the World Class Exhibition Facilities at Jaipur’s Jawahar Kala Kendra. Inspired by the interiors of the International Art Galleries, the Alankar Museum and three galleries of Jawahar Kala Kendra are being tarted up. The walls of beautiful Jawahar Kala Kendra have been paneled. Owing to the leveled paneling on the walls, the paintings and arts can be easily displayed in a line on the walls. The budget to renovate the gallery is more than a hundred billion Indian Rupee. Only Delhi and Mumbai own such type of art galleries, that too at private locations.

The Galleries will be inaugurated in mid-July with the Visual Art Festival.

Once echoed with the music and arts of Rajasthani Tradition, The Alankar Museum will be used as the gallery to display arts. The Museum will be converted into a big gallery like the Chaturdik Art.

The rates to rent the art galleries may rise. The JKK Authority will apply certain policies to rent the galleries. All these activities will come in effect from August 2016.

The 20-year old painted walls of Jawahar Kala Kendra were used to hang all the arts and paintings of the renowned as well as newbie artists. The same walls have been floored with cement, imparting a leveled layer over the wall. To hang the displays, the walls are being marked with a line. HD LED lights will be used to increase the beauty of the arts, adding sophistication to the gallery.
