Housing layouts to be approved online in the Jaipur city - software development by the government

Housing approval now from online



Government intends to develop a software program the implementation of which will aid people in getting approval for the layouts for the construction of a house.

Tasks related to the paperwork and filing for 90A rules and also of conversion of land use will be easy to file by way of online means.

City residents will no more be required to stand in queues or visit the offices for Jaipur Development Authority (JDA) or Urban Improvement Trust (UIT) numerous times to get their work sanctioned.

Software development:

  • The software shall be attached on a single window system and the same shall be made available on all the other websites.
  • The software is being developed by Swayat Shasan Vibhag, Rajasthan by means of a foreign company.
  • This is the first attempt in the country and in the state of Rajasthan for the development of such an advanced software by means of which people can get approvals related to their building plans.
  • Additional Chief Secretary of Urban Development and Housing Department Mr. Ashok Jain took a meeting on June 9, 2016 to discuss the plans and procedures of the same.

Post software launch facilities:

  • Officers for Urban Development and Housing Department have informed that after the launch and implementation of the building plan software, anyone can obtain the approval for the layout and design of his house after uploading the same on the website.
  • Applications received for approval by the Jaipur Development Authority shall be opened and discussed before the committee.
  • The layouts that are approved by the committee shall be uploaded by Jaipur Development Authority on the website.
  • The use of land or the conversion of agricultural land to non-agriculture land and the technical approvals related to the same will also be reported by means of 90A online.
