Sachin inaugurates Jaipur artist Suvigya Sharma’s show


Master Blaster Sachin Tendulkar inaugurated Jaipur artist Suvigya Sharma’s art show, Art of The Royals, at Kamalnayan Bajaj Gallery, Nariman Point, Mumbai on October 2. The show was graced by many celebrity guests such as chef Vikas Khanna, sculptor Arzan Khambatta, interior designer Aakif Habib, gallerist Jalpa Vithalani and more.

Sachin lighted the lamp and then walked across the gallery with Suvigya. He heard about all works on display and indulged in taking a few selfies with the guests. Suvigya also presented a personalized handmade memento to Sachin in the form of a gold embossed bat with a 24 carat gold handle, which he placed inside a Burma teak box. The box is also embossed with 24 carat gold. This memento marks Suvigya’s respect for the batsman.

Suvigya has been juggling between Mumbai and Jaipur to nurture and promote the legacy of miniature art form in India. Suvigya has also focused on fusing thikri (mirror) work with 24 carat gold gliding and embellishing them with semi-precious stones, in this Art of The Royals exhibition.

Suvigya Sharma has gained such name and fame in the world of miniature and gold paintings that entire Jaipur is proud of him. We wish him good luck!
