Jaipur-Bangkok direct flight starts this November 16


Flying to Bangkok from Jaipur is going to get easier as the Thai Sime Airways is going to start direct flight connecting Jaipur-Bangkok from this November 16.

The Jaipur-Bangkok Flight will Boost Tourism

The four hour flight connecting Jaipur-Bangkok will encourage inbound and outbound tourism between the two regions, as said by Isra Stapanaseth, the director of Tourism Authority of Thailand, New Delhi. Stapanaseth also shared that India is an emerging market for Thailand for leisure travel as well as for the famed Indian big fat weddings, film shoots and MICE activities.

According to stats recorded, more than 1 million Indian tourists visited Thailand last year, with a 14.5% growth as compared to previous year. Similar growth can be expected this year too.

A Delight for Jaipur jewellers

Just a while after Scoot started it 3 weekly flights to connect Jaipur and Singapore, now we are going to have a direct flight from Jaipur to Bangkok. Bangkok is a jewelry hub for Indian merchants and is thus visited frequently by Jaipur jewellers. This city offers various trading opportunities to the jewellers of the Pink City. So, a direct flight connecting Jaipur-Bangkok will definitely benefit them.

Jaipur-Bangkok flight to attract travelers from other cities too

But this flight will not only attract the jeweler community of Jaipur or other Jaipurites, it will also attract travelers from nearby cities like Jodhpur, Bikaner, Alwar and Ajmer.

Stapanaseth talks about more plans from Thailand

Stapanaseth said that they are targeting to connect tier-II cities of India with the tier-II and tier-III cities of Thailand. He also spoke about Thailand’s plan to target new segment of people such as women, senior citizens and bachelors.

Pink city is the new favourite for the Aviation Industry
