Jaipur's Rambagh Palace in World's Top 10 Heritage Hotels


Hotel Rambagh Palace Jaipur, one of the iconic heritage hotels in Rajasthan, has been ranked 6th in the list of top 10 heritage hotels in the world, as declared by a prestigious travel publication called Travel Weekly. Hotel Rambagh Palace Jaipur Rajasthan is the only heritage hotel in India to feature in this list by Travel Weekly.

This ranking of the top 10 heritage hotel properties in the world was declared on Wednesday, 19th April 2017 by Travel Weekly, the reputed travel publication of the United Kingdom. Rambagh Palace has been placed at number 6 among the world's top 10 heritage hotels.

Rambagh Palace Hotel Jaipur

Renowned travel company Cox & Kings had described the 19th century palace in Jaipur as one of the best selling hotels among higher-end clients. Quoting this travel company's statement, the UK based magazine declared Rambagh Palace to be among world's top 10.

The Rambagh Palace was once served as a hunting lodge to the Maharaja of Jaipur. It was later converted into a heritage hotel of Rajasthan in the year 1957. This stunning heritage hotel in Jaipur now houses 78 restored rooms and suites with elaborate décor. The Palace Hotel's interiors, hand-carved marbles latticework, sandstone balustrades and ornate cenotaphs are a centre of attraction along with the Palace's beautifully landscaped Mughal Gardens. Guests get an opportunity to dine in what was once the Palace Ballroom, complete with crystal chandeliers and the 18th century French architecture. This heritage hotel in Jaipur also offers services like yoga, meditation and Indian treatments at the Spa.

Previous Recognitions

This is not the first time when Hotel Rambagh Palace Jaipur has been recognised for its well-kept heritage and the top-class services that it offers. Rambagh Palace hotel was judged as the best hotel in the world by Conde Nast traveller Reader's Awards in 2009.

The hotel has been recognized in the list of the world's top 10 heritage hotels because of their conviction of providing top class luxury and services. The General Manager of the hotel managed by the Taj Group says that delighting the customer is our number one priority.
