A Hawa Mahal-Inspired Look Will Be Seen on the Cannes 2026 Red Carpet

Jaipur-based fashion designer Aashna Vaswani will present her look collection at the Cannes Film Festival along with 10 models. On May 21, a red carpet look will be showcased at the Jaipur-inspired event. The highlight of her collection is a “gold armor” inspired by Hawa Mahal.

According to Aashna, the armor is inspired by the architectural style of Hawa Mahal. She explained that the shape and design of Hawa Mahal are influenced by the structure of Lord Krishna’s crown.

Gold Armor Worth Up to ₹3 Crore

Aashna said that today’s brides want something different instead of heavy traditional jewelry. Keeping this in mind, she designed the gold armor, which can also be fully customized in gold. Its price can go up to around ₹3 crore. She added that it is not only a fashion statement but also an investment piece.
