  • Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) Mr. Anurag Thakur has been quoted saying that BCCI has always wanted the best health and interests of the sport cricket that is much celebrated in the country.

  • Players have been made to participate in various tournaments including Ranji. Many a players have also been selected from the tournaments. In the future too, BCCI will not have any player face any harm.
  • After being elected the BCCI President, this was the first time when Mr. Anurag Thakur arrived in the Udaipur city.
  • The Udaipur city, District Cricket Association and its officers and cricketers of the city welcomed Mr. Thakur at the Dabok Airport.
  • To keep up the enthusiasm of the welcome ceremony, Mr. Thakur took part in one of the activities organised by the people and discussed the nits and grits of the sport cricket.

Thoughts on women cricket and its boost:

  • It is of utmost importance in present times to give a boost to women cricket. BCCI is coming up with plans and policies to give a rise to women cricket country wide. All these plans and policies shall be implemented soon.
  • BCCI is also actively working to bring out the hidden talent in the rural areas of the country for the cricket sport and give a fair chance to the country’s talent.
  • At present, the Indian Cricket Team is delivering a very fine performance. The team has a perfect balance of young and fresh and senior and experienced players.
  • Thakur believes that the team will continue to deliver the same exceptional performance in the future and for ensuring that such performances and records are maintained by the Indian Cricket Team, BCCI plans to provide better and refined services to the players.
